I'll probably get one soon as I think my external backup drive is about ready to fail, which isn't terribly useful for backups.

Got one last week. Excellent piece of kit.

I too have purchased the 500 Gig model and it works like a charm. It's perfect for what I need it for which is backing up my important files. Even with all of my music, docs, and pics from two machines I have barely made a dent in it.

I always like replacing 2 or more devices with 1, so I got the 500GB a few weeks ago to replace my old 802.11g Belkin router and an external firewire drive that was being used for Time Machine. My only complaint is the LED on the Time Capsule is brighter than any night-light you can get in a store. It would be nice if there was a way to disable the LED rather than having to put tape over it.

I just put a book in front of it, or anything small but solid.

Same here, it is very bright and I have to put something in front of it, not a BIG deal but it would be nice if they have a feature to dim the light. Other than that I love my Time Capsule and it works great.

A backup hard drive and a decent wireless-n router is about the same price as a time capsule anyway, so why not.

yup, agreed. that light is too bright, but other than that, the thing works like a charm!!
