Considering that sie and connections are probably the biggest issues...
Would it be possible to take the Superdrive out of my iBook G4 14" and put it in my MacBook as I only have a combo drive?

Thanks for that much but I want some definitive measurements if this is the case. Cases of the machines are different sizes but the drive could be the same...

to be more specific -
iBook drive is 12.7mm thick (height) half-inch
MacBook drive is 9.5mm (height) three-eights inch
that is what I meant - the iBook drive is simply too thick to fit inside the MacBook.

Thanks. That's all I needed to know. I suspected that I wouldn't be able to but I just wanted to confirm it.
