I'm just wondering how to change the thumbnail for my .torrent files. I downloaded a new icon for Xtorrent but the thumbnail is still the default. Can anyone help?

Well Xtorrent is my only, so it is the default. But the Xtorrent applications has a black icon now, while the .torrent file has the standard icon.
CMD + I on the file whose icon you want to use and click / highlight the icon (next to its name) and then CMD + C (or go to Edit -> Copy).
Then CMD + I on the file whose icon you want to change, click / highlight the icon and press CMD + V.

^ thats only if you want custom icons. you dont want to do that for every .torrent file on your HDD (if you have many) or every one you download. XTorrent should have its own .torrent icon.
cmd+I on the torrent file, open the "Open with:" arrow, change it to XTorrent and then click "Change All ". or the easier way option+right click on the .torrent and choose "Always open with -> XTorrent".
