what should i get?

okay well im planning to get imac or macbook pro soon (during the summer)
i mainly use my computer for photography/photoshop and sometimes bit of graphic arts. im also planning to do music production (garageband) in the future, and i evidently have over 23GB of music. and im a student btw.

so should i get the imac or the so called the new macbook pro coming out on june?

i want imac bcuz i can also watch my movies and bigger screen but i'd like macbook pro for portability around my house (our house is wi-fied) and i can take it to starbucks or my camp.

I love the portability and power of the MBPs. It works great for me and my design major at school. The iMac's are cheaper, more storage and power. You can always get a monitor and external harddrive for the MBP, (for your large music files and such). It comes down to if you want a portable computer or not. I find the portability a necessity for college, but thats only my experience.
