Quick question about monitor quality based on the type of connection, thanks in advance!
I just got a Samsung Syncmaster CTR 21" and I see it can connect two ways, 1. via vga and 2. via an R G B H/V V connection, can I use this to connect it to my macpro? (I have a 8800gt) and is it better and how over vga?
found this cable http://www.atbatt.com/product/17585.asp
thanx!

Just use a DVI to VGA converter cable. There should have been one included with your MacPro.

Its all analogue. Skip the R G B R V/A E W O/X B S D N H/V I S V E V adapter cable and go directly VGA. You won't notice any difference, especially after you calibrate the display.

so i should use the vga to vga cable (that came with the dsiplay) and add a dvi adapter?
what does analogue means?
Thanx! :)

Yes! Analogue is anything not digital. :D DVI/ADC/HDMI etc...
