Strange Beep on closing

Just curious if anyone else had a strange beep after closing the lid. It doesn't seem to do it every time. Seems like it happens more when I have been watching video or doing things that bump temp and fan speeds. It is just a quiet little "beep". Only does it once.

I've had my hard drive click when closing the lid. It's quite soft too, maybe that's what you're hearing?

I hear clicks sometimes too but this is a distinct quiet beep. Only on closing.

I have heard the beep...it's definitely not a clicking sound...

Just started a few days ago. Every so often, randomly, not necessarily when I close the lid, it will just make this little digital electronic raspy beep sound. Maybe once or twice a day with heavy use. It's never done this before. I've had mine about 6 months and did all the updates of late.

I hear what may be the same noise. I'd describe it as more of a CHIRP. It happens anywhere from 1-4 seconds after I close the computer.

OMG just had this for the first time ever; jumped out of my skin. I wasn't even closing it!
