LaCie Ethernet Big Disk with Time machine?

I'm looking for a 2TB backup solution (LaCie Ethernet Big Disk), a NAS would be prefered so I can place it somewhere good.

But does it work with time machine?

Yes it will. LaCie drives come formatted for Mac already and Time Machine will work perfectly with it. I have the LaCie 2 Big Tripple and Time Machine had no problem. It even started up as soon as I plugged in my drive.
