Cablevision - what are the best settings for Airport Express?

For anyone in the NY metro area, who has Cablevision's "Boost" internet (30 down, 15 up), what are the best settings to use on my APX? I have it working properly, my APX is normally 3 feet from my Macbook, and my speeds are consistenly 3-5 Mbps slower than usual. I love the thing, but had some trouble during installation and I do not feel that I have the settings optimized for Cablevision's internet connection. Thanks in advance for any help.
