Given that it has a VGA input (I know its not as good but as £129 compared to £399 ...) I presume it will work ?
I look up on the apple site what resolutions the MBP 15" will do but it only gives me the resolutions when driving the inbuilt screen.
As I'm looking for a big monitor to go with the MBP I am about to buy (still) it would be useful to know what it will drive on an external screen. I presume for DVI it will go up to 1900 x 1200 ? I guess if its driving VGA the answers could only be approximate but I would also guess if I use DVI figures to select then it won't be far wrong.
So my questions are:
1. will this monitor work ?
2. what resolutions on external screens can MBP 15" drive ?
3. are there reasonably-priced monitors going larger than 1680 x 1050 (the apple one is out of my price range)
