Have you tried it? Client and Server editions of OSX aren't all that different...

OS X Server is the same executable binary as the client edition. The difference is that the OS X Server package includes some advanced GUI administration tools that aren't on the standard client edition. These GUI tools don't do anything that you couldn't do on the command line, with perhaps a bit more effort.

MAC? Link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAC_address) Perhaps in June at the Developer's conference they will announce 11g for Intel Macs. References to a fabled Mac version of 11g is hinted in the PDF manuals.

The version you can download is for Panther Server and it is the old 10g Release 1 version (PPC binary at that) with no updated security patches. It is practically abandoned ware.
