Hi everyone. although i love my macbook to bits, sometimes its small screen is annoying when sat at a desk. can anyone recommend an external monitor? has to be 17 inches +

dells are really good and cheap. I have a 19 inch dell and it works great.

the model ## is dell 2407 WFP-HC

The OP asked for the cheapest one, that's not cheap! It's like telling someone who wants to buy a cheap convertible to buy a Ferrari.

I'd spend the extra $30 and get the Ultrasharp version:

They're almost the same, except the Ultrasharp uses better materials, more features, and higher quality panels.

wow thats actually a really good price, i may have to replace my regular 19" for one of those widescreen models. LCD prices have really dropped i remember a few years ago that would have been 10 times more expensive.
