I'm looking to either sell these or accept trades with other Macintoshes. I have plenty of references from here, MacNN, Ars Technica, Heatware (100% Positive), and eBay (100% Positive).

1. MacBook Pro 15" **SOLD**
This is a 15" Glossy MBP 2.16 GHz (C2D), 120 GB HDD, 2GB RAM. In excellent condition (no scratches or dead pixels). Has had a clear keyboard skin on it from day one since I got it as a refurb from Apple in Jan 08. Has the 1 year warranty until Jan 09 and you can extend that with Apple Care. Comes with Tiger and Leopard Upgrade DVD. Of course, it comes with all its accessories. I think even the remote and DVI-to-VGA Adapter are still sealed. No scratches and the battery only has 15 cycles. I try to keep the battery in shape by draining it every two weeks. Will come with a Macessity sleeve (http://www.macessity.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=29779) as well if I decide to let it go.

2. 20.1" LCD Monitor **ON HOLD - PENDING PAYMENT**
This is a 20.1" LCD LG L204WT Flatron Widescreen monitor. Has a 2000:1 digital fine contrast ratio and touts a 5ms response time. No dead pixels or any scuffs on the screen. Will come with the original LG box (which is the box that was used to ship the monitor in) and all original accessories (power cord, VGA, and papers). It has a DVI connection, but it does NOT come with a DVI cable.

3. 512MB PC2-5300 RAM sticks
I also have 3x 512MB PC2-5300 (Apple) RAM sticks. They were pulled from a stock iMac and MBP. Brand from the MBP is Hynix and from the iMac it's Nanya.

How much would you want for the MBP?

tough call on the mbp.... still a great machine even though outdated... 1050 if you want to sell quick but you could possibly score 1200-1300 because of the condition, extras and applecare...???

I was hoping to get something around $1300 shipped. It's in excellent condition and no Apple Care. Still has about 7 months until the 1 year warranty expires. I believe you can purchase Apple Care anytime within the one year warranty time.

If you want pictures, let me know. If you want to shoot some offers, just PM me and we'll try to work something out.

any idea what panel the LG uses?

No idea. If there is a way I can find out without opening it, let me know.

UPDATE:

From what I could gather from other sites, it seems the L204WT uses a 8-bit TN Panel. It specifically says TN here in the specs tab (http://www.lge.com/products/model/detail/l204wt.jhtml). It also says 16.7M colors which many sites say is most likely an 8-bit LCD.

I'm no expert when it comes to computer monitors. I just bought this for some screen real estate since the MBP was only 1440x900. So the specific differences between S-IPS, AS-IPS, and TN are a bit over my head.

If anyone else has any questions, just let me know and I will try to answer them.
