Hey all,
I want to buy something that will allow me to get wifi on my sawtooth G4. It can be USB or internal, I'm really not sure what the best/cheapest way would be.
Thanks!

If you wish to go the internal route, you will have to fork over $50 for the original airport card. It might be cheaper to purchase a USB 2.0 PCI card and also buy a USB 2.0 wifi adapter and install it there. Then you will also have 3 or so extra USB 2.0 ports and have faster networking since the airport is only 802.11b while the faster 2.0 will be 802.11g :D

This (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?Item=N82E16833162115) card will work seamlessly with the AirPort software, in fact, you'll never see a difference from using a real AirPort Extreme card. It is 802.11g, so it's faster and cheaper than getting an original AirPort card for your Mac. I use one in my G5, and it works flawlessly.

Looks like that card is NLA, at least from NewEgg. You can spend the $50 at OWC for one of these (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Newer%20Technology/MXP802NPCI/) or this (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Edimax/EW7728INOB/).
I had one of the Edimax cards in my G4 Quicksilver and it worked great! I took it out because of some moving of equipment allowed me to go back to Ethernet, so I had no need for it.

I've got a wireless USB dongle that works in OSX (tested up to Tiger, I don't have Leopard, but works in Panther, Jaguar, and Tiger for sure). I can sell it to you for $20 shipped (I'd go lower, but it is still usable for me if I don't sell it). If you want, you can search "usb wireless os x" on ebay, there are some options there as well...
