Ipods backlight ->no light

Hi all,

I have a 2G Ipod with 20 GB, it works just fine and it has firmware 1.3 on it. Unfortunatly when I turn the backlight on, the screen goes all black and the letters of the menu are in gray, so it is hardly readable. I have tried to reset it, but no luck. The lights do not go on...

What should I do???

have you checked teh contrast under settings?

With the contrast you can't get the light on... And that is just the problem, the light doesn't get on!
