Hi,

One of my computers at home is a 1.25Ghz PowerPC Mac Mini with 512MB of RAM. I've installed Leopard on it, mainly because of Time Machine, and it runs ok for most part of the time but it need more RAM.

According to Apple specs, the most it can take is 1GB. But I've read in a couple of places that it can take a 2GB module (check Dustman's post in this thread https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/405264/). I just wanted to hear this from someone who's actually tried this.

So, is anyone out there able to verify this claim? 2GB RAM in PowerPC Mac Mini?

Thanks!

It will only take 1GB.

I know you didn't ask this, but the Intel minis can take up to 3.16GB for reference
