Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! I'm sorry, but everybody in Utah has been saying that he's gonna win! I got so fed up with everybody getting hyped up, so I predicted that he would loose. I should have bet on this! I could have made money! 😉

Probably. You did make your screen-name "Ben Lee", after all.

What happened, did your Google also malfunction before you could search for the answer?
Are you kidding, I doubt if you could find such news anywhere. Not even the other American Idol thread that has been around for months.

the same dvr thing happened last season.. and they apologized.. so why did they let it happen again?

Only a Tivo noobie sets their recordings to the hour. Put 2 minutes beforehand and 3 minutes afterwards and you won't miss any of your american idol crap.

Ah........so true, so true. He had nowhere else to turn but this message board. I can see that.

Considering Ben Lee is my name I don't know what that is supposed to mean. And Google did not find anything 1 minute after the show ended but thanks for playing. You come on here trying to be rude and end up looking like an idiot.

Wah whaaa whaaa

It's quite obviously done on purpose, so it will make you consider watching it live, instead of recording it.

American Idol has been known to run long by 3 minutes, the solution is to tack on some run time to the DVR or VCR for those that still use them. So if the show runs from 8-10 record it 8-10:10, problem solved.

My cable-provided DVR doesn't allow for tacking on extra time, which is a real pain.
Most I have seen allow you to tack on 5-10-15-30 extra minutes, or just record the news and delete it after. I know that Cox allows extra time. Not sure about Comcast. It is a manual setting though.

Yep, our Comcast box allows it.
