It seems it will be down for a few days due to unforseen problems.

See this explanation on their forums. (http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showthread.php?postid=698232#post698232)

I was beginning to think I broke it when I returned to the green for a few hours. :D

At least, it's not permanently out.

WOW, they still aren't up and running, I thought that thread said it'd be back up by yesterday. What's going on, anyone have some information?

Well sorry for things taking longer than expected. I *finally* got a chance to unpack everything today, and since my internet flaked out up in Dallas my original plans for the shift to the new server never took place...

However, tomorrow my goal is two things:
1. Catch up on the hundreds of emails in my inbox (yeah, it's that bad).
2. Get folding stats back up...

Heck, tonight is the first time I've gotten to check the forums since before thanksgiving I think...

Keep your fingers crossed...

We will see.

No doubt by tomorrow that will be looking completely different.....

What sort of total do you think we could amass for this week now? 200,000 points perhaps? :p

thats the worst part of distributed computing...when servers go down

usually takes them a while to recover/rebuild

By the end of the month we will jump 5 places, and we take 2 of those this week!
(at the current rate of course)

Unfortunitly those are wrong, they go by the weekly gain, which is screwed up because of the stats problems. BUT We are at 18K a day now, so we will be passing ALOT soon!!!

wow, I leave for a few monthes and all hell breaks loose and we double our output!

is this because of the G5's ? :P

I'm quitting most of my jobs to concentrate on getting into grad school so my production should fall soon.

I'm excited and happy for our team! alright!

it's great to be back :)

I'll pass you only because you gave Rower your comps :P

Plus, I'm not much an anomoly anymore, a few more people are into the ehavy cruncher club for our team!

I'm not sure when i'll loss my steam yet, my boss says I can keep the folding going and I'll be in the department for awhile (prob longer if I get into grad school) so I can keep checking in on it.

Plus, the image has it on it, and the way we do images--clean image a comp add new stuff update and make new--it'll be on until June at least.

I don't have a key to the building anymore, so I might not be able to make sure thigns run over Christmas break btw :(.

Well I seem to have maxed out my production for now. Too bad, I would love to see us advance faster. Does anyone know of output/processor comparisons, like how a dual G4 533 does against a dual 1.25 on the web? I t would be interesting to see a comprehensive chart of the different Mac models.

There was a decent Comparision chart at the offical Folding@Home Forums... Arg, I can't find the link to them right now though, there is such a thing though.

Actually I was using the "Last 24 Hrs" column, that should have stabilized by then.

Oh, I thought you were using the estimated stats that are automatically generated.

Since going back online has extreme been updating once every four hours, but breaking everything down in three hour blocks. I could have sworn when I looked earlier today it had been 3.5hrs (according to their time slate) since the stats had updated.
