What's the best ram deal on a 4gb kit for my mbp?

Almost always it's OWC (Other World Computing), a long time 3rd party Apple reseller. They'll even give you trade-in on your old RAM if you want. It's not a lot, but hey! - it might cover shipping....

Yes, I keep going into swap, from having Aperture, iMovie, Safari (10 tabs average), iTunes, Transmission, Transmit, Adium, iChat, Mail.app, Photoshop, to name a few always running. I try to clean up and only run what I need, but unfortunately 2 gigs just doesn't appear to be enough.

I see; a lot people buy an upgrade because of the whole hype.

I can see what you mean; I have that Kingston RAM. It works!

Because I did do my own research, but still found better prices after following some links here. The funny thing is, that's what a forum is for, collaboration, not complaining about why people ask questions.
