hey,
as above my macbook keeps 'losing' network places.

basically i have a network of computers in my house all windows - but my mac, i have two of them in my dock so when i click them it takes me to them, but sometimes it cant locate where they are, and makes me authenticate it again and again :(
my brother also has a macbook, and his has no problems with this issue

any idea's on what to do to stop this, as it can be quite annoying
Cheers
Pete

no one else suffer from this problem then i presume, should i take it into an apple store then?

Just reset all your keychains, and go into the network preferences and delete all network info that os x automatically remembers. By doing this you should be able to set it up all over again and make it work from the start. It's not a hardware problem, it's definetly software based, no apple store necessary.
