Anyone else here doing a Memorial day BBQ? Nothing like chicken grilling, and a large baked potato.

Those not from the US, do you have a holiday similar to Memorial day?

not really .. but the death are mourned anyway on All Saints (which is a holiday) and on All Souls' Day (no holiday but no school)

but neither is a day for BBQ

Yes..Great BBQ weather here (MA) for a change..Ribs are coming along nicely in the smoker,pulled pork is done...Burgers will go on later on...

Went to a beautiful memorial day wedding yesterday. Good times.

Actually, this is the first one I've actually had off in about thirty years, so it's burgers on the grill and some sales at Bed Bath & Beyond.
