I am getting a MB in a few days and want to run Windows. I like Vista, but its ability to support my USB nic and share the connection is limited (it barely works.) XP works great, but I don't want to use it that much. The other problem is that OS X is horrible on the network we have here because its handling of PPPoE with VPN's is really slow, so virtualizing doesn't work well.

What I want to do is use boot camp for both Vista and XP, is it possible?

yeah, should be possible.
you just need a copy of XP and Vista to Tri-Boot.

Also, you might want to try VMware Virtualization instead of Boot Camp.

Just so others know, its not possible. Boot camp limits you to one partiton for some reason.

Dude, May i ask, why do you want to run windows on your mac.

Thats like buying a PS3 and using your PS1.

Its crazy, most of the apps for windows are now compatible with mac OS.

And you cannot Tri-Boot, Boot Camp only lets you partition once.
Try : This

Buying an expensive great machine, using an outdates silly machine instead....

Anyway try the link i provided.

Its all the same machine. You told me something I already told others. I also already said virtualization would not work. The computer also cost me £350, that is not very expensive.

Hmm, ok..
What comuter is it sorry?
MB? Where did you get that from for £350, new?
My auntie is looking for a cheap macbook PRO, for her recording and work.

Sorry mate..

Oh, check over your Power supply (charger) i heard the Power isnt right between British and American plugs, i couldnt buy my iMac from the states...

The plug also....

The power is fine. The adaptor is 110-240 and I have a UK end on it. It is strictly the software which is causing the slow Internet and lack of support for my USB nic.

You'll have to create a third partition using something else, I'm not sure if you have to do anything special (this has been covered a lot in the Windows On Mac forums) but perhaps just Disk Utility would work.

The boot loader supports as many bootable disks/partitions as it can find, or at least more than two. You should be able to tri-boot these OSs.

As for the USB nic, it doesn't help at all to say, but this is why they're a bad idea. :/

The only reason I use the USB nic is because its a notebook, and I need to share my internet connection with my 360 for XBL. It works well enough in Windows, but getting one for OS X was way too expensive.
