Hi all. I tried finding someone else with this problem on the forums, and only found one thread that might be similar but it was never resolved. Maybe I wasn't searching with the right keywords. Anyhow...basically I'm having a problem with renaming files on my MBP Whenever I go to type in the new name, everything is fine until I press the "F" key. This is frustrating since I have a lot of Florida photos I'm trying to organize. I've tried every letter of the alphabet and they're all fine, but when I press "f" or "F" I notice the Finder menu at the top gets focus for a split second and throws me back to the first file in the folder. I just tested it after reading the other thread and this behavior only happens in list view or coverflow view, although when typing the Finder menu item still gets focus in icon and column views, it just doesn't stop you from finishing your renaming. I have other files I've named with an F in them in the past in cover flow, so this is a new issue. Has anyone else had this problem? Do I need to adjust some setting? I guess until I can figure something out I'll just use the other views to change names. Very odd. Thanks for your help.
