Update to 10.2.8...Volume button doesn't work

I just upgraded to 10.2.8 and now my volume button doesn't do anything. if I turn it all the way down, it still blasts in my ears. Grrrr! Why would this happen and does anyone know how to fix it? This would realy help me out. Thanks!

Well, after restarting my computer again, (I already had after updating) my volume button works perfectly fine. Turns out, I'm an idiot. Happy computing.
