I've had my ibook for 3 months now and about two weeks after i purchased it grey and black marks started to appear around the QS apple and the screwholes on the side? What is this ?

I would guess that they are stress in the plastic, if you have warranty on the iBook you can ask Apple about it if it bothers you.
