P philgilder macrumors 68000 May 28, 2008 #4 for mac: i prefer quicktime (pro) install perian, it allows you to play pretty much any file in quicktime then press file > export > export for iphone works fine, quick and easy

C con2mac macrumors newbie Original poster May 28, 2008 #5 thanks. 2 more Qs. hi all, thanks for the feedback. i reviewed quickly the info provided for the VisualHub. it seems fine. the price is ok for me. but i have a couple of questions: 1) assume that i have a avi or a mpg file of 700MB. how long will it take to convert it to a mov file with VisualHub. please note that i have a 2GHZ and 2G RAM macbook. 2) will the quality of the converted movie be the same with the original one ? thanks to all.
