:-( I had hoped this would be fixed. Is anyone else who uses a 802.1X network still getting the following behaviour?
1) Log in to 802.1X network - network authenticates
2) Send Mac to Sleep
3) Wake Mac up
4) Network does not resume connection to 802.1X network. It fails to authenticate and self-assigns an IP address - so the network connection fails.
Turning Airport Off and On again (the oldest trick in the book) forces a reauthentication and the 802.1X network reconnects.
