"WWDC 2008 is announced for june 9th with a keynote speech from Steve Jobs on June 10th at 10:00 AM local time." Source (http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/developer/wwdc2008countdownwidget_joosttenkattelaar.html)
We will probably hear about the new iPhone when Jobs speaks. Thus, won't the new iPhone the tenth, not the ninth? Am I missing something?

Well, that widget wasn't made by Apple. According to Apple's info, the keynote is on the 9th: http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/events/. That widget was made before the officially keynote announcement. I guess the developer assumed it would be on Tuesday and not Monday?

As above, the widget maker fc.co.uk'd the keynote date. It's definitely 9th.

It's on Monday, June 9 at 10 am. Check http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/schedules/#day=monday&time=morning if you've got ADC.
