I up graded to 10.5.3 earlier this evening, and kicked off a Time Capsule back-up to re-base.
As often happens, I forgot that this back-up was underway and sometime into the back-up, I closed my MacBook. In the past, this has meant the back-up was abandoned and had to restart from scratch next time.
However, I came back to the MacBook later this evening, opened it up, and to my pleasant surprise, the back-up resumed from where it had got.
If this is indeed a 10.5.3 improvement, then that's great news 🙂
