video in iChat isn't working

Just got my new 24'' and for some reason my girlfriend and I can't do video in iChat...

anybody know whats goin onn????

my bandwith has no limit and everything is at default setting

many people are encountering this problem (just search these forums and you'll see that evidence) including myself. best i've been able to find is there's a firewall/port-blocking problem that I've yet to resolve. I plan to call Apple over the weekend and see if they can provide me with any insight. FWI when I'm connected to my brother's MBP on the same router (At my house or at his house) there is no connection problem what so ever, but when I try and connect from my house to his house (now on different ISPs and different routers) we both get a message stating that the other canceled the connection.
