Hi Guys,
I have a big problem with cydia, it wont start when i touch it. i tried installing cydia manual refresh but i just get stuck with _slowly_ Upgrading Telesphoreo... it wont install. any ideas on how i can fix this? please help.
im on ver 1.1.4. btw
is it a good idea to install the cydia package again using installer?

I think it's best to have EITHER Installer OR Cydia.

No, they can co-exist perfectly, thats not the issue.
If you gain command line access to the phone, you can run :
apt-get dist-upgrade
and
apt-get update
(both need to be run as root, so either ssh in as root, download sudo, or invoke su) :P
This will update cydia for you, and hopefullly sove any issues that you have.

You can do it in MobileTerminal also. ( I suggest the version in Cydia, its updated more regularly, and the one from installer has many known bugs. )
Or if you have the ability, you can create an ad-hoc network in order to connect to it :P

getting apt-get unknown command error, please help
