Folding...Need some help with it

Ok so I know what folding is. the only thing I don't know is how to help. I will be getting a new computer around Christmas and I would like to use that computer for folding on the Mac Rumors team. I am looking at picking up either a G5 1.6 or a G4 dual 1.25 with a few extras. Please help me! Any info would be great...Thanks
