It looks the same as 10.5.2 to me as well... can you post some screenshots or tell us which specific menus have altered transparency?

I was really hoping the menus would better match the menubar this update.

But alas, they're still the same.

So now the translucency obsessors succumb to the placebo effect. 🙄
