I remember a PC game in the late 90s called 'Re-volt'. It was rather like Micro Machines but better. Anyone else remember it?

All right!! Another first person shooter!!!

I almost regret the day computers were able to simulate first-person vantage points like this. Suddenly, videogames went from things like burger time, frogger, beer tapper, blasteroids, joust, sabotage, 1942, spy hunter*, to shot-this games or drive-this games. Dave and Busters has hardly naught that doesn't fit into the shoot-this or drive-this category. As I sit here, I can't think of anything besides shoot and drive. Maybe there was a boxing simulator and all the coins-for-tickets machines.

Video games have become uninspired. Frames Per Second is the most important thing now.

(Yes, I know spy hunter was a driving game)
