Audio Level Meter of Internal Speaker Playback

Hi,

I am looking for a plug-in/software that displays audio levels during playback from internal speakers on my MacBook Pro. I want to visual see the level of playback without actually "hearing" the audio.

Is anyone familiar with such a plug-in/utility/software that does this?
