Got a pre-switch question here..
If I get an iBook, and edit something in iMovie or whatever, can I / how do I transfer what I made to a SuperDrive enabled Mac to make a DVD? Does that make sense?

i think so. i haven't tried it, but when you start iMovie, you have to specify a folder to store all the movie related files.
i imagine you can simply copy that folder to a superdrive machine and open iMovie/iDVD with it...

Great, thanks.
So they're stored like project files?

Here are some options:
1. You can set-up a network using a crossover cable and then transfer the file over.
2. You can probably use a firewire cable and use your ibook in a disk mode to transfer the files.
3. You can transfer the movie back onto a minidv tape and then transfer it to the other computer.
4. You can split your quicktime files into smaller segments (a lot of them) and burn them to CD-R.
Hope this is useful.
