Whats the word on the store and new firmware?

Any news on the Apps store I would think it would be going live with the New Iphone 2.0 being released.

Is it going to be released around the same time? Also when is the newest firmware coming to current Iphone users?

Im guessing it will be announced on the 9th i.e. the release date!

seems odd that no one is allowed to promote thier apps? I would have thought we would have seen a flood of titles available day one...
