I did a clean install of panther thinking that I would be able to reinstall iDVD and iMovie from the cds after but to my disma, I cant find them on the cds that came with my PB. The cd (or DVD?) only seems to be fore jag restoration.

So the question is: how can I reinstall these two software?

Thanks!

If your Powerbook is new enough (Early 2003, possibly Dec. 2002) you should have a separate iLife DVD/CD.

I just bought it about 2 months ago and unless this CD/ DVD is labelled with another name, I dont have it...

It kinda suck, I think I will have to call my reseller and pray that he believe me!

Do you have the Software restore discs? iDVD should be on those. iMovie is on the panther discs.

My bad.. I ment that I missed iDVD and iLife.

When I look on my restore disk, the only exec file on it seems to be the restore. I must admit that I was too scared to open it and see if I could install iDVD from there...

But if its in a diffente folder / cd, I dont have it.

When I am home tonight I will try the restore CD.

thanks

There should be a grey CD labelled Software Restore, or Application Restore or something along those lines. When you put it in, it should bring up four install options, one being OS 9, one being iDVD (I don't remember what the other two were). You should be able to just select iDVD, and it will install it.
