Can i turn the macbook to sleep FROM the external monitor

Can i press the power button on the external display off so that the macbook goes to sleep when i turn the display off....?

NOTICE: STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE WIRELESS PROBLEM AFTER THE 5.3 UPDATE 🙁(
