I been playing with this for most of today and was able to change my FTP port to 2121 (from which I've successfully done FTP before, it's not blocked by my ISP). I'm forwarding that port on my router, so that shouldn't be a problem either.
The more I play with it the more I'm starting to suspect that the ftp is for use on local network only? Is my suspicion correct? Am I wasting my time, and if so what FTP server would you recommend for OSX (10.5)?
