iPod touch Customizing iPod touch without Jailbreak?

Does anyone have some ideas for customizing my iPod touch without Jailbreaking it? I do not want to lose my AppleCare extended warranty.

All you can really do is change the wallpaper that appears when you "unlock" your ipod when its asleep.
 
you dont lose your guarantee, because after you jailbroke it, if you get bored or something, just restore your ipod thru itunes and it gets back like it was the first time, and then you can use your guarantee.
