Best monitor to buy for MacBook?

I am in the market for a 20-22 in. monitor to hook up to my MacBook. What are your suggestions? I would like to spend no more than $350.

(I like the Dell SP2008 or the SP2208. What do you think?)

I had a 20" Samsung monitor which was not only affordable but it was also extremely good looking and performed great. I'd always go for a 20" model because the 22" monitors on the market tend to have the same 1680x1050 resolution, meaning they're not as sharp or crisp to look at.

Remember that you also need adapters for connecting an external monitor to your macbook.

Apple makes this that work fine:
Apple mini-DVI to DVI Adapter
Apple mini-DVI to VGA Adapter

Thanks for the suggestions! The second monitor only has VGA, no DVI. Does this impact the quality of the picture? Will I notice a difference?

I have used two different MacBooks with a Samsung 20" monitor and they were absolutely fine. DVI does make a bit of a difference in my opinion, so I'd definitely get a monitor with that.

I have an "old" Samsung 191T 19" hooked up to my MBP. It has a 1280x1024 resolution -- I wish it was higher, but like I said, it's "old".

DVI is a must, IMO. I wouldn't buy an LCD without it.

The 1680x1050 20" Samsung mentioned above sounds like it might be a good choice. I might get one for myself.
