24'' White iMac bought March 2007
2.16GHz Intel C2D proc
2GB Ram
500GB Hard drive
Tiger + Leopard DVD (or not if it violates some kind of copyright law)
Geforce 7600 256Meg Video Card
Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
no scuffs scrapes dings or issues at all
Also comes with box and wrapping

In anticipation of the new (imminent?) iPhone release, I'm pondering selling my iTouch 16gb along with the iMac as a package deal or something like that

hoping to sell it for at least 1200$US (I handle the shipping costs)

I've sold here before and had very satisfied customers with my prompt service.

So what do you think?

Does it have or is it eligible for applecare?

That is a very good question. It does not have applecare. And I do not know off the top of my head if it is still eligible for it. But I do not believe that it is eligible since I received it on March 3rd 2007. If it is anymore assurance, I have not had a single issue with my iMac in the whole time I have bought it (no freezing, skipping, overheating, broken pixels, nothing wrong).

im thinking less for the imac. 750-1000.

that sounds *very* low given the specs on his machine. Not being in warranty hurts it, of course, but that's still an extremely capable machine. The cheapest 24" refurb you can get is $1400 (plus tax), and this machine has a bigger HD, more RAM, a matte display, and an arguably better graphics card.

Of course, it also has a slower processor and no warranty, but still. I'd say the imac is worth ~$1100-1200.

You've got it a little twisted. The new ones have better graphic cards, and this doesn't have a matte screen...

Any interest in a trade for a Macbook Pro? Probably not, but still worth a shot. [see signature for specs.]

I'd love to have this model iMac w/ the specs listed.

EDIT: PM SENT

similar model (but not 256 MB video) for $1200 on apple's refurb page.
$1200 with full year warranty, fresh out of the box, discs, everything.
some come with more RAM, larger HD; even a few have come w/upgraded video.

I'd be willing to come down on the price. But I was also thinking about throwing in a 16gb iPod Touch along with it to justify the price/warrenty.

I guess my next question is, would 1100$ be more justifiable?

Also to answer your question, xxjuicymintxx, no I don't think I'm willing to trade. I am wanting to put the money I make from this towards other purchases I have in mind. But I do kind of need the money in these times.

I was hoping for 1100$ for iMac and 1200$ for the imac + itouch (while I handle shipping through the U.S.)

As I emphasize this is a feeler to see what I could get for it, I do plan on selling this pair before the end of the month.
