In Pro Tools there's that bar you can click that will give you the trimmer, crossfade tool, and hand tool all at once, depending on where you position your cursor. I love that. Is there a way to mimic that functionality in Logic 8? Right now I'm using the primary and secondary button kind of thing, but I'm really clumsy working that way.

Not as far as I know and the smart tool is one of the reasons editing in Protools is so much easier than in Logic.

The closest you can get [as far as I know] is to assign a tool to: left-click, apple+left-click, right click[has to be turned on in prefs]. That gives you quick access to 3 tools at a time.

Does anyone know if it's possible to assign to time-stretch function to a tool??
