Awhile ago I tried installing XP onto my Macbook via Bootcamp, and I allotted XP to use 18gb of my HDD. Then, while Bootcamp was partitioning, everything froze up, and I had to reboot.

So, I reboot, and when I log in, I lost the 18gb. Disk Utility shows no partitions, and I can't do anything in there to fix it to my knowledge.

Is there anything I can do to fix it, short of backing everything up and reformatting / reinstalling?

Boot from the Leopard install disc (or the Tiger install disc, if you're using the old version of Boot Camp with the set-the-clock-back trick) and use the 'Repair Disk' function. All should be well after that. :)

Ok, cool.

I'll give that a try. Thanks.
