10.5.3 to 10.5.2 and back again?

so unfortunately i now too have some woes with 10.5.3. never believed i would because so far leopard was great. after i did the software update from 10.5.2 to 10.5.3 everything was fine. however some little issue made me download the 10.5.3 combo update and install it.

i got rid of that little issue but now i have some other crap going on. what the hell is it with these things coming and going and working for some and for others not?

i almost got a heart attack by a loud sound/ horn a few times now. it seemed to be triggered when somebody came online on ichat, but not sure.

the other issue is with safari window going inactive/ active by itself everytime i access a website.

very annoying.

so is there another kind of 10.5.3 instead of the combo download at apple.com?

should i revert back to 10.5.2 and do software update to 10.5.3 again?
