Hello all,

I have successfully installed Windows XP home edition (with SP2) on my iMac 2.66 ghz, but I am having troubles with the boot camp drivers.

I inserted the Leopard installation disk that contains the necessary drivers; however, before the installation can be completed, the blue screen of death appears for a split second and then automatically restarts back to Windows. This happened pretty much every time I tried installing the boot camp drivers.

The boot camp driver installation basically did not finish.

Just to be on the safe side, I removed the windows partition until I can figure out how to solve this problem.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had to use the correct iMac CD that came with my computer. In other words, using the standard Leopard disk gave me the blue screen. When I used the disk (Leopard installation Disk 1 that came with the iMac) the blue screen error was fixed.

Anyone that is having the same problem should check this link out.
