Final Cut Express 4 Render Question

I'm editing HDV footage from a Sony HDR FX1 camera and recently switched some of my user settings for a new project. Everything seems to be working fine except for, now I notice when something needs rendering I'm getting this orange line instead of a red one. What's that mean?

If you go to the Sequence->Render menus, you should see a color coded representation of each color.

Red: Needs Rendering
Orange: Unlimited

If the color of the render bar changed while working on your project, you may have inadvertently changed the Real Time settings for your Sequence. You can change those settings in the drop down "RT" menu at the top left corner of the Timeline window.
