Crap...now we are going to get rumor reports like a leaky boat.

"My friend's cousin's friend works at ATT and he saw the iPhone...it's bigger AND smaller than the original."

i am an att rep and have been a MacRumors member since last summer.... i have received no iPhone 2 training yet... now it could be cause last year we leaked a bunch of info...but nothing yet..

Just had to throw that in there...

I think this reinforces the Monday release. The sooner the release of the iPhone 2 after the AT&T staff gets trained up, the more retention the employees will have and the FEWER? leaks Apple has to worry about.

suspiciously though.... i did get notification that we are no longer allowed to direct fulfillment (directly ship) iPhones to customers starting today...

He was talking about retail stores.

I know my Apple Store still has iPhones.


Anyway, how can 2.0 release on Monday? Doesn't Apple need to give the new firmware to all the carriers for testing? Which would take about a week or two.

How do we know that AT&T hasn't tested the firmware for the past month?

For all we know, they could be ready to release iPhone 2 on Tuesday June 10--just look at how know one knows anything about the actual phone. Same goes for the release.
