I downloaded some video clips with avi.001 avi.002 avi.003 etc....I just want to know what kind of program should I use to rejoin them? Thanks.

VisualHub can do it. Just check "stitch videos together" and call it good.

Do it from the Terminal.

I totally concur. Easy to use, small size app. & IT's FREE! Even though it is, I donated $15 because it's pretty good.

These are probably .rar files. You don't always need to make an actual .rar file when creating the rar set. You'll actually find that many release groups will do this. I'm not sure of the exact reasoning behind it, but this seems to be the case on most newsgroups and torrent sites. Install a rar program for OSX and use it to open the .001 file. It should decompress the whole set like normal.
