So I am not getting an iPhone when it comes to japan. My dad may. I am not

Instead I am getting (hopefully. My dad said he would but didnt promise) a Nokia. The two phones I want are the

Nokia 6500 Slide
and the
Nokia n73

The N73 is running S69 and the 6500 is running Series 40

Which is better for music, imagery, running and downloading 3rd party apps, and calender/sms?

I do prefer the looks of the 6500 over the N73

personally, i've used the N73, i don't know what OS it is, but dam, its horrible! its laggy and the while the music functions are ok, the fact that it doesn't synchronies with itunes is a real hassle already. thats probably why i got an iphone ( which isn't the most advanced in terms of features, but the most usable in terms of music, calender, sms, call, email and internet)

but that's my personal opinion,

S60. Hands down. S40 is a strong feature phone OS, S60 is a full blown smartphone OS. I'd go S60, there's just more options.

Thanks for the help. Which would be best to use as an iPod replacement? S40 or S60? i have iTunes sync software
